Inclusion & Innovation Leader

Dr. Lisa Coleman is a distinguished academic leader and the President of Adler University—the institution’s first female and first Black president. Her career spans academia, corporate, and nonprofit sectors, with a strong focus on strategic innovation and inclusive leadership.

Previously, Lisa was New York University’s (NYU) inaugural Senior Vice President for Global Inclusion and Strategic Innovation, where she led efforts to embed inclusion and innovation across NYU’s global campuses. She also served as Harvard University’s Special Assistant to the President and held leadership positions at Tufts University. Lisa has served on numerous boards, including the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and Parity.org, and is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA).
