1. Who should attend the Career Transition Bootcamp?
This bootcamp is designed for current and recent former (less than a year out) federal employees and government professionals who are considering a career transition. Whether you’re exploring self-employment, private sector jobs, or new roles within the government, this intensive training will provide the strategies and tools to help you move forward with confidence.
2. What will I learn in the bootcamp?
You'll gain practical insights and hands-on strategies in key areas, including:
- Federal exit strategies to help you transition smoothly.
- Self-employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
- How to leverage your government experience for new career paths.
- How to stand out in the job market.
- Networking and job search techniques to connect with decision-makers.
3. How long is the bootcamp?
The bootcamp is a total of eight hours of intensive training. There is both a one-day and a two half-day option, so you can pick the one that best meets your needs.
4. Is the bootcamp in person or virtual?
All bootcamp sessions are conducted virtually.
5. Will I receive any materials or resources?
Yes! Participants will receive workshop materials, templates, and resource guides to help them implement what they’ve learned.
6. Do I need any prior private sector or business experience?
No. Prior experience is not necessary. This bootcamp is designed to help government professionals of all backgrounds successfully transition to new opportunities, whether in self-employment, private industry, or another government role.
7. How do I register?
Secure your spot here. Spots are limited as bootcamp sessions will are held in small groups to promote active participation by attendees with our coaches and trainers. Early registration is recommended!
8. How much does the Career Transition Bootcamp cost?
The cost is $500 for our expert-led training, including workshop materials and additional resources.
9. Can my employer cover the cost?
Yes. In some cases, federal agencies offer career transition support or training funds. We recommend checking with your HR department or training coordinator to see if reimbursement is available.
10. Who leads the bootcamp?
The bootcamp is led by SynergyUSA’s career transition experts, who have extensive experience in government workforce transitions, career coaching, and self-employment strategies.
