Jo Linda is a transformational leader and executive, with over 20 years of experience in civil rights, organizational change, and driving employee representation and performance. She has led complex employee engagement and education programs for Capital One and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. As a master trainer and facilitator, she transforms organizations' culture and improves business outcomes through courses on leadership, legal compliance, EEO counseling and investigation, HR for new supervisors, and Crucial Learning® Vital Smarts.
Jo Linda safeguarded the civil rights of 200,000 federal employees as the Director of the Office of Equal Rights at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and reduced complaints by 47% as Director of the Civil Rights Division of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). She spent over a decade with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), most recently as the Assistant Director of the Office of Federal Operations, where she directed a robust national training program that supported 2 million federal employees as the Director of Training & Outreach and received the EEOC Leadership Award. Â
